
EACH October splendid sounds mingle with stunning surroundings when the Wingham Akoostik Music Festival delights music lovers.
The three day musical feast for 2016 includes headliners Ross Wilson , Ash Grunwald, Shannon Noll, Bill Chambers and Catherine Britt.
Adding more flavours to the mix are these recently announced favourites: The Backsliders, Brendan Gallagher, Dave Mason, Tracey McNeil and The GoodLife , Round Mountain Girls, Miriam Lieberman, Jodi Martin, Jordan McRobbie, Galleri, Travelling Teardrops and Sam and Lee Dyball.
Announcements will continue as over 30 acts are aligned to take to the festival stages this year.

A three day festival ticket is just $63, even less for seniors over 60, and for under 25s its $28 for the three days, with kids under 12 free.
These ‘Super Duper’ tickets are available for a strictly limited time. And as a special treat from this batch of tickets two randomly chosen guests will have the opportunity to meet Shannon Noll or Ash Grunwald side of stage.
The essence of the festival is creativity and originality and the dates this year are October 14, 15 and 16.
The relaxed festival environment allows up close and personal encounters with the artists and the facilities at the Wingham Showground allow overnight camping.
“You can even book a pre-pitched tent and ready rolled swag this year to save you bringing any gear along with you,” festival co-ordinator Donna Ballard says.
