SIX candidates, including two independents, will contest the seat of Lyne at the July 2 federal election.
Labor candidate Peter Alley drew the number one spot on the ballot paper, followed by The Greens’ candidate Julie Lyford.
They are followed (in order) by Christian Democrat Party candidate Elaine Carter, Independent Brad Christensen, The Nationals’ Dr David Gillespie and Independent Rodger Riach.
The draw for positions on ballot was made at the electoral office in Taree at noon on Friday.
