The Kendall Blues have hit on a winning formula for their big charity weekend.

The July 23 event is designed to give back to the community who support them and local people who may need some help.
This year’s beneficiaries are the Murray Family, supporting dad Mick through a tough cancer battle, boxer Shelley Watts on her way to the Olympic Games, Kendall Public School and the Give Me 5 For Kids campaign which raises funds for children’s wards in local hospitals.
Junior league starts at 9am with Hastings League action from 1pm between Harrington and Lower Macleay with Kendall battling Long Flat at 3pm.
Off the field families can enjoy the canteen facilities, buy raffle tickets, cheer on the players and kids will be kept busy on the giant slide, face painting and temporary tattoos.
There will be plenty of activities after the games at the Kew Hotel kicking off at 6pm. There are also several donation boxes at a number of convenient locations.
