Amidst significant modernisation announcements North Coast TAFE institute director, Elizabeth McGregor, is confident that staff and students along the north coast are well positioned to take advantage of the changes.
“We have over 48,000 students enrolled already this year choosing the option they want: face to face; on the job; online; in community or a blend of all four. Yesterday’s announcement from the NSW government makes it clear that we should keep moving in this direction.
We will continue to deliver through campuses and through our industry and community-based, mobile facilities. And we will make more learning resources available, digitally, for students to access when and where they need them,” says Ms McGregor.
The new design will see NSW TAFE’s ten institutes come together in a collaborative and connected single entity, allowing teachers and students to experience the best of TAFE in any of the regional locations.
