So the do-gooders have won and the greyhound industry is for the chop (no pun intended) – it’s only a matter of time until they move onto horse racing, rodeo, polo etc. Sure, there might be a bit less cruelty, but these animals will now never be bred in the first place, so who wins?
Meanwhile, Kew golf club is being overrun by feral and fiercely (at times) aggressive kangaroos, and again, it’s only a matter of time until someone is severely lacerated, but that’s OK – as long as no animals are harmed in the process!
