A FULL lineup for the Port Macquarie Beer and Cider Festival has been announced.
The beer gods have not disappointed, with the full list including three of the top five craft breweries in the country as recently crowned by Beer Cartel's inaugural Australian Craft Beer Survey.
The festival will be on September 24 from 11am at Westport Park. It features three of Australia's newly crowned Best Craft Breweries.
The 2016's Festival will showcase at least 20 local and national brewers jostling to take out the inaugural People's Choice Award and the coveted notoriety that comes with being crowned Port's favourite brew.
The study of more than 6,500 craft beer drinkers put Adelaide's Pirate Life, Byron Bay's Stone and Wood and Sydney's 4 Pines in Australia's top five favourite craft breweries - with their inclusion in the Festival offering locals and visitors alike an unprecedented opportunity to tap into the country's best breweries and taste some exclusive brews not available elsewhere.
If the best craft brewers in the country bringing a swag of exclusive liquid gold doesn't float your boat, the Port Macquarie Beer and Cider Festival is also one of the most family-friendly beer festivals in the country.
This year's kids arena has been blown out of proportion, and its glorious waterfront location at Westport Park is sure to inspire.
While a free beer glass on arrival ensures the Festival's environmental footprint is minimal.
After the raging success of last year's inaugural Keg Toss, organisers have also introduced a far less physical option for those more 'nimble' competitors.
The Keg Roll will offer prizes for individuals seeking glory, and taking registration for corporate and private teams or anyone who may have a friendly rivalry that needs levelling.
The Stunned Mullet VIP Marquee is also a new introduction, offering an exclusive experience for those with a taste for the finer things in life.
The Port Macquarie Beer and Cider Festival have teamed up with Port Macquarie’s finest restaurant, The Stunned Mullet, to offer a trendy pop up restaurant and the ultimate festival upgrade.
The full lineup of brewers boasts: Doctor's Orders Brewing, Illawarra Brewery, Mountain Goat Beer, Pirate Life Brewing, Shark Island Brewing Co., Willie Smith's Cider, Young Henrys and Yulli's Brews.
Joining the first round of announced breweries, which include: 4 Pines Brewing Company, Black Duck Brewery, Dusty Miner Craft Brewery, Frank's Cider, HopDog BeerWorks, Hops And Tales Brewery, Moore Beer, Murray's Craft Brewing Co, New England Brewing Co., Pagan Cider, Stone & Wood Brewing Company, and Wayward Brewing.
