If you go down to Kendall School today, you're sure of a big surprise
If you go down to the school today, you'd better go in disguise
For every bear that ever there was will gather there for certain
Because today's the day Kendall School has their teddy bears picnic.

Well actually it was last Wednesday but you get the idea.
Kindergarten to year two students from Kendall Public School all brought their favourite teddy bear to join in with on their learning.
All class room lessons were based around their teddy bears, during literacy lessons students created stories involving their bear, maths was all about bears, creating graphs about different features of their bears.

The senior students even got involved by taking small groups to the library to read stories about teddy bears.
After lunch the bears had a great P.E lesson and really loved being tossed in the air on the parachute.
School Principal Jodie Paterson said “the Teddy Bears' Picnic is a fun and nurturing way to engage children in interactive story telling and reading”.
“The older children love the opportunity to be role models to the younger children and really enjoy the caring relationships that they have developed with their younger peers.”
