There will be something of interest for all gardeners at the Gardener’s Field Day at King Creek on Saturday October 8.
Vertical gardens, succulents, terrariums, bamboo for every situation, bromeliads, orchids, and citrus, are some of the products that will be on be display and for sale.
Garden specialists will be interviewed and give you free advice for your garden. Other stalls will offer local and overseas garden tours, nature photography, mosaic garden décor, woodcrafts, quilting and bric-a-brac, confectionery, and produce. There’ll be hot food, drinks, and the garden club members will have tea, coffee and tasty treats.
The field day will be held at ‘Stratheden’ 160 Old King Creek Road, King Creek from 8.30am to 1.30pm.
At 10.15am children’s book ‘Little Sower Samuel’ will be launched by Lisa McPherson. Illustrator Katherine Appleby will sign books, with free giveaways and special activities for children.
