Port Macquarie-Hastings Council elects a deputy mayor

The vote was unanimous and Cr Intemann was elected unopposed as deputy mayor during the first council meeting of the new term.

“It is an honour and a privilege to represent the community as deputy mayor and I thank the mayor and councillors for their confidence,” Cr Intemann said.

The deputy mayor’s term of office expires in September 2017.
