SILVER: Tom Lewis with his silver medal earned at the state champs, where he smashed several records in the 1,500m race.
Camden Haven High School student Tom Lewis added another NSW State Athletics medal to his collection and smashed three records in the 1,500m.
Tom represented the North Coast Region at the NSW State CHS Athletics Championships in Homebush, Sydney.
Running in the 16 year boys 1,500m event, Tom ran a new personal best time of 4.15.09, to finish in second place and win the State Silver medal.
Tom has won a total of nine Australian National and NSW State medals, during his years at Camden Haven High School.
This year, leading up to the State Championships, Tom broke the North Coast Regional 1,500m record by five seconds, the Lower North Coast Zone record by six seconds and the Camden Haven High School record by a massive 21 seconds.
