The Camden Haven Concert Band and Adult Beginner Band ‘Stick with Us’ have been busy rehearsing their repertoire of Christmas music and carols in preparation for the Laurieton Carols this Friday December 9 at Longworth Park (opposite the Laurieton Plaza Theatre).
Christmassy music kicks off at 6.30pm with sets from various bands and school groups, followed by community carols singing led by the Concert Band.
As usual, the Rotary barbecue will have delicious hot food and cold drinks for sale. Candles and glow sticks will be available for sale too.
So pack up your chairs and picnic blankets, gather all your family and friends, come along for a great night’s entertainment and support this community event.
Don’t forget that Santa will be making his regular visit with treats for the kids! So come one, come all and join in the fun!
If it’s raining, our spirits won’t be dampened and the event will be held in the School of Arts hall across the road.
