Emma Dykes, a local girl from Laurieton, now living in Inverell is coming back to the Camden Haven this New Year’s Eve to release her debut album 'Pay It Forward'.
The Launch is being held at Oasis by the River in North Haven and this will be the first of a series of releases around the state.
"I am very proud of my first album and I am pleased that the first release will be in my home town. It has been a busy year, songwriting, recording and performing, and to end it with a local launch of Pay It Forward will be a great way to finish off, and a great start to 2017,” Emma said.
'Footprints', which is the first song Emma wrote, made it into the Top 30 of the country category in the Australian Songwriting Competition.
The launch at Oasis is an up close and personal event where you will get the stories behind the songs first hand as Emma talks through and acoustically performs the songs.
The album, and merchandise, will of course be for sale at the event, making this the first ever chance to purchase the album.
Come along for a drink, nibbles or dinner from the menu and make a booking for this free event to ensure you don't miss out. You can follow Emma's journey on Facebook @EmmaDykes Music and check out her website www.emmadykes.com
