The u6 played first up and they had a cracker of a game. There were some good runs, tackles heaps of tries scored. Stella Pickering had a top game scoring couple tries under the post and making good tackles. She earned the player of the day award.
U9 Red and u9 Black both team awesome games. The u9 Red played very well it was try for try for most of the game. There was good runs from all the players and hard tackles. Josh Hoffman earned player of the day.
U9 black had a hard game against Port Sharks. Jason Clarke had wicked game his defence was top notch, tackle after tackle, and saved few trys. He hearned player of the match.
U13 were up next. They had a hard-fought win over Wauchope. The Eagles came out firing in the first half leading 30-nill at half time. Then Wauchope came back in the second half. It was game-on and the Eagles held out to win the game. Brady Blackhall had great game and got player of the day.
U11 was our last game and curtain-raiser for the Stingrays vs Kendall Blues game.
It was a mean game to watch. The kids stepped up and were pumped to play in front of a big crowd. There were some wicked runs from the front rowers and mean tackles from backs. It was try for try right until the last second. Best game of the day to watch. The highlight of the day was when the boys sang the mighty Camden Haven Eagles Junior's victory song in front of the big crowd. Well done to Bailey Rudd player of the day, he had blinder of a game.
U6 came back for the Stingrays vs Kendall Blues game and at half time they played each other in a friendly game to entertain the crowd.
Thanks to Kendall Blues for coming back out on the field to watch them and shake their hands.
