I agree with Murray Cowled that this is not a significant issue. Seeing the letter from Graeme Smith on May 15 regarding the proposed cobalt mine referred to in this paper on May 8, 2017, I don't understand why so much space has even been given to this Camden Headland issue.

It is essentially a matter between a handful of residents and the Local Council. Eliza Biggs' ideas seem the most sensible to me, if Council chooses to fund them.
If anyone is interested in environmental protection, maintaining property values or tourism, I feel the mining issue is the one that matters. What a nightmare! This mine is far too close to a growing regional population centre.
