The family of Thelma Chandler who passed away peacefully on 23rd May 2017 at the ripe old age of 106, wish to thank the Laurieton community for their kind wishes and love for this special lady.

Her vibrant personalty her infectious laughter along with her ability to embrace life and live for each day as much as possible will be missed by all.
We would especially like to thank the Whiddon Group where Thelma lived for the last two years, George Fotoulis, Dale Feeny, the wonderful registered nurses and the amazing care staff whom Thelma loved, Nerida, Bernie, Joan, Kate, Toni and Kylie.
Many Many thanks to Dr Kylie Lucas for her special care always and Dr Lorraine Evans who cared for Thelma for many years prior to entering residential care.
A big shout out and hurrah to the Social Seniors and Friends a NSW Health initiative catering for over 70's wishing social interaction from Monday to Friday. Special thanks to Dianne the co-ordinator and assistant Isla for 27 years of the fun and laughter they gave Thelma and visa versa.
Also from the bottom of our hearts the kindness of Mark Hammond Funerals, especially Karen and Sharon who made this difficult process a little bit easier.
Also to Father Michael Roohan from St Peter The Fisherman Church for helping us pave the way for a lovely send off for Thelma.
Special thanks to Leslie Williams MP for attending Thelma's birthdays and making it so special.
Finally we would like to acknowledge the neighbours in Thelma's street who looked out for and loved her like their own family members. They were always there to see that she was safe and doing well while she lived alone until 104, Barbara, Judy, Liz and JIll, words fail us, just simply thank you.
