There have been some changes happening at your local taxation, small business and superannuation experts, Paragon Accountants.
With sadness and pride, they announce Mark Morten’s retirement on June 30. Mark has been the backbone of the firm for the past 23 years.
Always well respected in his roles as a Certified Practising Accountant and Certified Financial Planner®, Mark’s professionalism and philosophy of offering a one-stop-shop for his clients has always been second to none.
No client was too big or too small, he took pride in treating every client with the same care and service.
“We would like to thank and congratulate Mark on his 23 years in the accounting and finance profession. We wish Mark all the best in his future adventures – no doubt you will see him enjoying all of the wonderful activities the Camden Haven area offers.”
With Mark’s retirement, Kelly Madden has been introduced as a new partner. Kelly is a Chartered Accountant who has been working at Paragon for the past six years.
Kelly brings a wealth of experience in accounting and taxation, specifically small family businesses and in the self-managed superannuation area.
Kelly is a “born and bred local” of Laurieton. She attended school in Laurieton and Kendall before pursuing her accountancy career in Sydney. Kelly and her husband Shane and daughters Amelia and Grace moved back to Laurieton in 2006.
Leon Smith has been a partner of the firm since 1997. Leon is retiring as a partner but staying on as a Certified Practising Accountant. Leon specialises in small business advice and business structures.
Karen Muras (Certified Practicing Accountant) and Nadine McElroy (Chartered Accountant and Certified Practicing Accountant) remain as partners. Karen, Nadine and Kelly will continue to provide professional advice, between them, they have over 60 years’ worth of experience.
Supporting the partners will be Kim Moffat and Jo Goodear.
Paragon Accountants cater to a wide range of clientele, from ‘hands-on’ clients who want full control to clients who prefer little involvement and are happy to hand over their financial affairs.
They have a fast-growing number of clients who have started their own Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSF’s).
The laws relating to SMSFs are strict and expert advice in this area is essential.
To maintain their expertise in all areas the team devote a lot of resources to ensure that quality advice is provided to their clients
If you need up-to-date, expert advice in taxation, small business, or superannuation, including SMSFs, please contact Paragon Accountants on 6559 8522.
