Corinne Broadby has thanked the Camden Haven community members for their support in helping the rhino population.
Ms Broadby is a member of the Rhino Revolution, a not-for-profit organisation which rescues, rehabilitates and releases orphan rhinos.
They also seek to educate children in South Africa about conservation and provide protection for free-roaming rhino on private reserves.
On July 13 the winners of the Rhino Revolution colouring competition and raffle were announced.
The raffle winners were Fran Jordan and Valerie Patchell. Ava Ryder and Ethan Smits won the colouring in competition.
The prizes included Rhino Revolution t-shirts, hand-made African crafts, an Ubuntu soft toy and the beautifully illustrated children’s book Ubuntu, Summer of the Rhino.
The donations from the raffle will assist Corinne when she travels to South Africa in August to see the Rhino Revolution’s rehabilitation facility located in Hoedspruit in the heart of the Greater Kruger Area.
The team at Camvet supported Corinne and her cause.
