Shop coordinator Niki Bryan said 93-year-old Ada Latham is the owner of the shop who has been revamping pre-loved goods and selling them to help put funding back into the community for 26 years.
On September 30 Camden Haven NSW Rural Fire Service ran a fundraising barbecue and children were given the opportunity to climb in the truck and talk to the firefighters.
The event raised $616 for Ada’s Op Shop.
Funding from Ada’s Op Shop helps the Camden Haven Fire Brigade, Westmead Children’s Hospital and CareFlight.
Ada’s Op Shop is located in North Haven and is open on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
