The two day event gets underway with twilight ring events also scheduled for Friday night.
Publicity officer Elizabeth Watson said the show – the 69th for the community – would continue to provide great family entertainment catering for everyone.
“This show is a window to our community,” she said.
“So we will have a variety of displays, stalls and events that cater for all the family.
“This year will see us embrace a new concept with a theme – The Chook Pen – featuring prominently throughout the show displays.
“This idea will helps us focus on the important aspects of the showground and help promote events and displays.”
Show society president Sean Gleeson said the twilight dressage competition on the Friday night would see some top prizemoney on offer.
“We are expecting a strong turnout from the ring competitors and the prizemoney will help boost our numbers,” he said.
“We will also have the Holden Car Club on display on Sunday morning anda the karate demonstration, concert band and the all stars dance group.”
The demolition derby – which is an extremely addition to our show – will be the highlight of the Sunday program.

While the Friday night twilight will be a drawcard, the show itself officially gets underway on Saturday with gates opening at 8am.
Saturday’s program features the usual sideshow alley amusement rides, plus a dog show, beef cattle judging, show jumping and a continuation of the ring events.
“Some of the features include displays of handicraft, needlework, patchwork, photography and art,” Mrs Watson said.
“There is also a focus on the juniors with a art and creativity section.”
Saturday will also see the grand parade from around 2.30pm.
Other highlights include the racing pigs, Blue Mountains Reptile Awareness Show and chainsaw racing.
The program features on Sunday include wood chop, U-Bute Ute Show, poultry and the return of the racing pigs and the reptile show.
“The demolition derby – which is an extremely popular addition to our show – will be the highlight of the Sunday program,” Mrs Watson said.
