Development officer Alison Fazzolari said they would now look to hold competitions in Camden Haven as well as in Port Macquarie.
A sign-up day will be held on October 13 from 6pm until 7.30pm at Camden Haven High School.
After holding successful camps in Port Macquarie, Fazzolari felt they needed to give players from south of the area the option of playing in a closer competition.
“Some of the kids can only afford to play for half an hour in Port Macquarie because it takes half an hour to get there,” she said.
For many years the community of Camden Haven has been asking for this highly skilled sport.
Fazzolari has been the forefront of futsal in the greater Port Macquarie are for 10 years and brings a personal touch to the game.
“Our camps are mainly for the juniors, but it is open to everyone,” she said.
“We only need four teams to start a competition.”
She was hopeful the Friday competition would start at 4.15pm every week, starting from October 20.
