The event is on Saturday October 28.
And, according to a Shed spokesperson, the day is a ‘big sale of stuff’.
“The shedders have been working all year long to create and build things for this sale day,” the spokesperson said.
“There are plenty of toys – including trucks of all makes and models – along with plenty of other really good Christmas ideas.
“Some of these works have been built from scratch while others have seen older toys resurrected to look like new.
“But that’s what we do: pieces of timber start to take shape as the skill of the woodcrafters turn them into all kinds of toys.”
The spokesperson said the combined effort of all members was key to the success of the Laurieton Men’s Shed.
“While everyone is busy creating and building, it also means that we are enjoying the chance to be together.
“The Shed is about having a place for men to come together, share stories and share skills and support each other.
“That’s what the Shed is really all about. That, and having fun and good humoured companionship.”
The Laurieton Men’s Shed is on Diamond Head Road at Dunbogan. The ‘big sale of stuff’ gets underway at 8am.
