And with spring upon us he’s had plenty of creative inspiration.  From rainbow bee eaters to rainbow lorikeets he has captured the diversity of region’s birdlife in the photo gallery above.

This week is National Bird Week and people across the country are taking part in the Aussie Backyard Bird Count.

If you want to attract more native birds to your backyard why not consider providing them with an additional shelter source by building a nest box or a birdhouse.  You can also add native plants to your garden to provide natural food sources.

A bird bath is another option but remember it needs to be kept filled, as birds will come to rely upon it.
