The weather was fine and sunny. When the gates opened at 8am the crowd rushed in to hunt for bargains on all types of items and there was a steady flow of people for quite some time afterwards.
Practically everyone who came walked away happy with something that they had purchased for a bargain basement price. Drinks were on sale along with tea and coffee and for those who had missed breakfast, sausages and onions sizzled away on the BBQ which were impossible to resist.
Our members would also like to take this opportunity to thank those who donate items to the shed throughout the year which enables us to put on this great Garage Sale Event.
The Men’s Shed also appreciates those people who buy handmade articles made by our members from our stall at the Riverwalk Markets each month.
