The 2017 Salvation Army Christmas Toy Run has been hailed a success with dozens of motorcyclists donning the leather and revving up to bring festive joy to kids across the region.
Sponsored by The Westport Club and hosted by Harley Davidson riders HOGS, the event collected toys for children in need.
The ride kicked off from Laurieton United Servicemen’s Club and wound its way along the coast arriving at The Westport Club where the toys were donated and celebrations enjoyed.
The toy run is open to all makes and models of motorcycles and riders from the local area and beyond are invited to participate.
The ride is an opportunity for motorcyclists to support the Salvation Army leading up to Christmas, a time when people in need rely on their charity the most.
Each year around 300 riders take part.
