Returning home from a session of radio therapy at Port Macquarie Base Hospital, I became aware of a deflated tyre on my Volvo.
Managing to nurse the problem to the service centre at the junction of Oxley Highway and the Pacific Highway, two good samaritans recognised my dilemma, being befuddled by the previously unused mini-spare tyre and associated equipment, and came to my rescue.
The female driver of a road maintenance truck and a young man on his way to a wedding saved my day.
They demonstrated the prime values of human good will at this appropriate time.
Thank you both.
