Every year the Year 6 students raise money to have a farewell celebration and to donate a present to the school.
The students chose a site and helped plan the project.
Several members of the local and school community donated their expertise to this project.
Kim Barry from the school thanked Ed, Kerry, Craig, Vince and Suzy for their valuable time and labour, without which, the project would not have been completed.
Bunnings in Port Macquarie donated pavers and turf for the project.
“We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank them and especially Libby for making it happen for us,” Kim said.
“All the students were thrilled with the result and look forward to hours of serious chess and checkers.”
