“Honestly she is just like every other dog.
“To us she is a very social dog; she loves a good run at the beach and usually we can’t keep her out of the water,” Frankie’s owner said.
Her Instagram page @frankiethelabradoodle has been going for a number of years and since it began Frankie has made friends all over the world.
“We made the Instagram page so that we could share our love of Frankie with others but we have been surprised by how many people around the world have become doggie friends with us.”
Frankie is known online for dressing up in themed outfits.
From halloween Frankie, in love for Valentines Day Frankie and dressing in surf lifesaving’s iconic red and yellow, to hippie Frankie, dad Frankie and Australia Day Frankie, she has many personalities.
“Frankie is such a placid dog, she just loves to hang out and one thing lead to another and now she loves dressing up.”
Since going online, Frankie has become online friends with another lovable pooch in San Francisco called Ozzie, along with other social media friends all over the world who tune in to see what Frankie has been up to.
“It is incredible, we talk with people all over the world via Instagram.”
On Frankie’s Instagram page she is sometimes joined by her three doggie brothers and sisters, Poppy, Bam and Finn who share in her fun activities.
Though Frankie is treated like any other pet, her favourite foods include grated cheese, her favourite toy is a ball and Frankie’s family can’t imagine life without her.
“Frankie isn’t into the usual dog food, her favourite food for a treat is cheese but obviously a balanced diet is ideal.
“She is also gets very obsessed with her ball toy. When we bring it out all her focus goes straight to the ball, we had to stop taking it to the beach at one stage.
“Frankie is so special to us and we can’t imagine our life without her.”
