Heavy rain and hail hit the Camden Haven on the first day of 2018 at about 2pm.
Residents reported damage to their house roofs, sky lights, windows, cars and caravans.
SES members attended 67 jobs in the Camden Haven during the afternoon and into the evening on January 1.
NSW State Emergency Service Port Macquarie-Hastings local controller Paul Burg said majority of the jobs were associated with hail damage and members assisted until 1am on January 2.
SES members from Wauchope and Port Macquarie were called to assist due to the large number of incidents the Camden Haven.
Mr Burg said the area was the worst hit in the Port Macquarie-Hastings.
The storm hit the Camden Haven at about 2pm on Monday, January 1.
Mr Burg said intense storms often come during the summer period.
“It’s part and parcel,” he said.
Mr Burg praised all SES members for working quickly and safely.
He said it was a very intense storm to impact the region.
Mr Burg said if residents require any assistance they should call 132 500.
