The best two teams from each competition play off in the final on Australia Day.
The Brett Border Cup will be played at Wood Street 1 and 2, and Wayne Richards 1.
Comboyne struck hard in rounds 1 and 2 with their own “bash brothers” Sean Minns and Jackson Thompson.
The ground rains sixes when these two are together. Jackson scored 117 runs and Sean 169 runs, including a century, before Christmas.
Sean Minns also has five wickets for 45 making him an exciting player to watch.
Other bashers include Tom Connolly from Port City Leagues Magpies with 76 runs and Khalid Duncan from Beechwood with 90 runs.
The competition best bowlers so far are Matt Bird from Beechwood with five wickets at 3.67 runs per over. Naseeb Singh from Bonny Hills also has five wickets.
The George Spencer is also very evenly placed. The teams are very even with Camden Haven and Comboyne early favourites.
The batting stars have been Cameron Thomas from Beechwood with 87 runs, Andrew Hales from PCLMCC with 79 runs, Liam Adelt with 76 runs from Camden Haven, Jacob Wilkie with 74 runs from Comboyne and Lindsay Dennis with 73 runs from Camden Haven.
The bowling stars, all with six wickets each, are Connor McHugh and Rhyan Hudson from Comboyne, and Paul Byrne from Port City Leagues Magpies.
The weather looks perfect for some heavy hitting and tough bowling across the association.
