Patrick Johnson said his product, Australian Coastal Walls, is a 'proven solution'.
"The issue of beach and sand erosion is nothing new to the council or the residents that enjoy Town Beach, Flynns Beach or Lake Cathie," he said.
"I lived and worked in Port Macquarie for 16 years; I know that these beaches have been fixed up numerous times and at great expense.
"This product is a proven solution, tested by a NSW goverment department at Manly Hydraulic Laboratories.
"They wrote a 67-page report that said it was a satisfactory product."
Mr Johnson said the system can be installed by council to reduce cost under instruction.
He said once the wall is erected it will reduce maintenance costs far more than any competitive product, including rocks which are also unsightly.
"An installation I was involved with in South Africa some 37 years ago is still working well," he added.
Mr Johnson said the system was found - through the Manly testing - to hand a once in a hundred year event.
The product has attracted attention in England, Fiji and Vanuatu while the US Navy is considering the product on a new base.
"The product is user-friendly in that you can build stairs into the interlocking system.
"I read a recent article in the SMH which stated that were were 20 beaches in NSW that urgently needed attention.
"I'd love to see Port Macquarie take up the offer."
