Truck fire on highway near Kew
A man has suffered minor burns to his hands after a truck fire on the north-bound lane of the highway, about four kilometres from Kew.

Laurieton Fire Station commander Les King said emergency services including members from Fire and Rescue NSW, Rural Fire Service and police attended the incident on Tuesday, January 16 at about 2pm.
Mr King said members acted quickly to remove and extinguish the aluminium and timber products from the truck before it became engulfed.
The truck was saved from being destroyed by the fire.
Mr King said the cause of the truck fire is not known.
The man was treated by Laurieton Fire Station members at the scene for minor burns to his hands.
