A spokesperson from Port Macquarie-Hastings Council says an abandoned vehicle at Bonny Hills is expected to be removed by the end of this week.

The vehicle has been left in the area on Ocean Drive since the crash on January 5.
A sticker was put on the vehicle by rangers once they were notified of the incident.
The council spokesperson said as the owners have not yet claimed the vehicle it will either be towed away by wreckers or impounded.
Meanwhile Mid North Coast Local Area Command is appealing for people who may have witnessed the crash to come forward with information.
Laurieton Police Sergeant Walker said the station was notified of the incident early in the morning on January 5.
Sgt Walker said a highway patrol vehicle attended the incident at Ocean Drive, Bonny Hills but the alleged vehicle occupants had fled the scene.
Sgt Walker said it is a reminder to people when they are on the road during the busy holiday period they should take plenty of breaks, take their time, don’t drive distracted and don’t speed.
