Hewett is the most senior of the four players having finished fifth in the club’s best and fairest award last year behind Luke Parker, Lance Franklin, Jake Lloyd and Josh Kennedy.
The half forward has appeared in almost 50 first grade games and appeared in most of the Swans fixtures last season.
Sydney made the semi-finals, but were knocked out by Geelong in a 59-point loss at the MCG.
AFL Mid North Coast development coordinator Mitchell Ede said professional sporting clubs appearing in regional areas was important to the code’s overall growth.
“This access to elite talent is massive for us because we had the Penrith Panthers boys up here a few weeks ago,” he said.
“We’re trying to work on that 13-18 years age group and show them that there is a genuine pathway to professional sport.”
They will conduct school visits, club football clinics and host a social night on February 5 at Settlers Inn
The players will be at Laurieton Oval between 3pm and 4.30pm and Wayne Richards Park in Port Macquarie also between 3pm and 4.30pm.
