The 17-year-old and North Haven resident tragically lost her life after a car accident on Friday, March 9.
A family friend Rheannon Chapman set up the initiative and is asking the community to make a donation to help ease the financial costs of a funeral for Carley.
“Any donation will go a long way in helping the Taylors give their daughter a farewell to be remembered in the hearts of everyone forever,” she said.
“Carley leaves behind her devastated mum and dad, three brothers Tim, extended family, her boyfriend and a shattered community of family and friends.”
Rheannon said Carley was a student at Camden Haven High and then moved to Newman’s Senior Technical College to pursue her dreams of becoming a nurse.
Carley was a well known and active member of the community who was involved in surf life saving, women’s league, boxing, touch footy and loved her skateboarding.
Carley loved to run King of The Mountain, was an active member of the SES and volunteered during the Ironman and Slice of Haven.
Rheannon said Carley loved her work and had enjoyed her times at North Haven Bowling Club, Addictive Pies and North Haven Takeaway.
