A team of students from Camden Haven High School will put their hard work to the test at the South Pacific Regional FIRST Robotics Competition in Sydney on March 17 and 18.

The FIRST Robotics Competition is a large-scale robotics competition.
FIRST is a not for profit charity founded in 1989 to inspire young people’s interest and participation in science and technology.
Four teachers and 21 students travelled to Sydney on Thursday, March 15 for the event which is at the Olympic Park.
A spokesperson from the school said the students have been working hard to construct their robot with new materials.
People can follow the action via a live stream www.thebluealliance.com on Saturday, March 17 and Sunday, March 18.
The opening ceremony starts at 8:30am and will be followed by matches at 9am and 1pm.
The school thanked Mid-Coast Fasteners, Bennetts Steel, First National Real Estate North Haven, Abstract Plastics, and Mid-Coast Eggs for supporting the students.
