Students from Camden Haven High School attended along with several teachers. Paiton and Lillibet inspired the audience with their speeches about International Women’s Day and their involvement as young women in community activities.
We were privileged to have the vice chancellor of Charles Sturt University Professor Heather Cavanagh as our guest speaker. She told some wonderful stories sliced with advice and important information for all in the room.
The LUSC staff presented the perfect breakfast menu that delighted all tastes. Many went home with raffle prizes donated by Quota and the Kendall branch of the Country Women’s Association.
Come and join us next year on International Women’s Day on March 8. We have another amazing guest speaker lined up already.
