Teenager charged with stealing at Laurieton
A 15-year-old boy has been charged by Laurieton Police after he allegedly stole a woman’s purse while she was walking on Bold Street in Laurieton.

Laurieton Police said the incident happened at about 9.15am on Monday, April 9.
Police said the boy allegedly shadowed the 85-year-old woman as she walked from the Post Office on Seymour Street to Bold Street.
As the woman walked towards Laurie Street, police said the boy allegedly pushed the woman and stole her purse from a basket she was carrying.
Police later arrested the 15-year-old at a property in West Haven.
He was charged with stealing from a person/others, drug possession and trespassing.
