“I don’t see how this kind of setup (in the photo) wouldn’t work in public places such as the parks in North Haven and Dunbogan,” Dave Castleton said.
Port Macquarie-Hastings Council group manager for recreation and building Liam Bulley said red and yellow bins have been installed at key locations across the Camden Haven including Rainbow Beach and Lake Cathie Foreshore Reserves.
“General waste bins are also located throughout the region in parks, recreational areas and the town centre,” he said.
“The installation of new red and yellow bins in Dunbogan, North Haven and other locations in the Camden Haven area will be considered as part of Council’s ongoing improvement of public spaces across the region.”
