Lily Cunningham and Emily Beard from year 7 had the winning bridge, scoring $150 from Alan Taylor and Associates.
The competition was held on April 12 and students competed to win a prize sponsored by Engineering firm Alan Taylor and Associates and a chance to compete at the NSW AURECON Bridge Building Competition.
The bridges were judged on workmanship, innovation, aesthetics, functionality, weight, and the mass it could carry.
The scores were tight and a close second was awarded to another team of two girls, winning $90.
Congratulations to all who competed and thank you to those students who cheered on their peers.
