Clown Doctors is a not-for-profit organisation and its members work hard to help treat sick children in hospital through fun and laughter.
The Laurieton branch joined other Commonwealth Bank branches across Australia in support of the Clown Doctors’ national day of fundraising, Smile Day.
Laurieton Commonwealth Bank manager Pauline Hoad said the branch has been supporting the Clown Doctors for more than 19 years, and it’s a cause the team is very passionate about.
“Through our fundraising day, we hope to help Clown Doctors achieve their goal of providing more Clown Rounds in hospitals across Australia,” she said.
Clown Doctors chief executive officer Tony Warner said the organisation is so grateful to CommBank and the community for their support to help uplift and empower sick children, their parents and hospital staff.
Donations to the Clown Doctors can be made at any Commonwealth Bank branch throughout April or online at commbank.com.au/clowndoctors.
