Inspector Mick Aldridge said at about 2am on Sunday, April 15 The Hope Shop on Ocean Drive was broken into after two suspects allegedly smashed a ground floor window.
Inspector Aldridge said on the same date at about 2am Cougar Cats Cafe was also broken into, as suspects allegedly smashed a glass panel to enter the facility. Police allege money was stolen, as well as the box it was stored in.
Police believe the two incidents are linked.
