Letter: Resident’s thank you for assistance
On Tuesday, April 17 while having lunch with friends at the Laurieton Hotel, I had a medical episode which required help. Thankfully, two nurses from the Lakeside Nursing Home were also having lunch at the hotel.

I want to thank them most sincerely for their care and comforting support while we waited for the ambulance to arrive from Port Macquarie.
Thank you also to the staff at the hotel who were most helpful and showed kindness to both the nurses and my concerned friends.
How lucky we all are to live in such a caring community.
