The ball, organised by staff at Port Macquarie Orthodontics, is on June 2.
The staff members will also be competing in the City2Surf as part of the fundraising effort.
Organiser Luke Nancarrow said 14 staff members would be participating in the 14 kilometre run from Hyde Park to Bondi Beach.
“Last year we had nine participants in the City2Surf, so it’s really great to have 14 staff members getting involved in the fundraiser,” he said.
“We have various training regimes underway, some of us are now doing Park Run, others are climbing North Brother, but all of us are not taking it too seriously.
“While the City2Surf is part of what we are doing, our real focus is on the Roll Out The Red Carpet black tie ball in June.
“We have already raised around $3000 toward our goal of $14,000, so we are really ahead of schedule at this point in time.
However, we would really appreciate getting some more business donations for the black tie ball’s silent auction.
