St Joseph's Primary School Laurieton staff and students celebrated Mother's Day with a liturgy and morning tea.

As a part of the celebrations, as well as our liturgy, the students performed a dance, said prayers of blessings and thanks for their mothers, grandmothers and carers.
They recited limericks, sang hymns and gave flowers to the many visitors present.
Later in the day students also handed out flowers and blessing cards to customers in the Laurieton shopping centre.
On Monday students visited the local nursing home for mass and handed out Mother's Day cards to the residents.
