The society is making an application to the state government's Regional Sports Infrastructure Fund.
At the meeting councillor and mayoral fees for the 2018/19 financial year will be set.
In the past council has adopted the maximum fee determined by the Local Government Remuneration Tribunal for both councillors and mayor.
Council will also consider the two year trial of parklets in the Port Macquarie Town Centre.
Under the plan council would re-purpose four car parking spaces to meet demands for outdoor dining areas.
Council will also be considering two notices of motion on Wednesday.
Cr Rob Turner will put forward a notice of motion regarding the upgrade of the Port Macquarie Breakwall by Crown Lands.
Cr Peter Alley has given notice of his intention to move a motion on the Short Street Plaza Car Park.
Wauchope's Bundaleer Aged Care Centre's planning proposal in High and Johnstone Streets, is also on the agenda.
The proposed Highway Service Centre at Sancrox is also likely to be discussed.
Wednesday night's council meeting commences at 5.30pm.
