There was plenty of swashbuckling fun from treasure hunts to jumping castles, craft and an opportunity to soak and friend or family member with water bombs.
Rotary Club of Port Macquarie Sunrise spokesperson Jenny Sinclair was thrilled with the community response on what proved to be another stunning Port Macquarie day.
All funds raised will be donated to local charities including Life Education and Bravehearts.
A Rotary team from Sydney’s northern beaches also attended with the view of replicating the successful event in their own region.
The Big Dig is now in its seventh year in Port Macquarie. The event hopes to raise $10,000 this year.
