Members of the Laurieton Men’s Shed swapped their tools for a cup of tea on Tuesday, May 15 to help raise money as part of the Cancer Council’s Biggest Morning Tea initiative.

They helped to raise $250 for the cause.
“Little drops make big oceans,” Laurieton Men’s Shed secretary Mike Carroll said.
In 2017 the community across Australia helped to raise $11.9 million for the Cancer Council. In 2018, Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is celebrating 25 years.
Donations go towards helping to fund research, support services, prevention programs and advocacy.
