Since its inauguration the event, which is hosted by the Hastings Auto Restorers Society, has raised over $54,000 to help local residents who are undergoing treatment.
Event coordinator Chris Whalley said the event kicks off at 7am on Sunday, June 3 for the hard core enthusiasts.
Chris said the swap meet has evolved over time to become a popular market event where not only car and motorcycle parts are for sale but also antiques, collectables, books and tools.
There is also a display of restored vehicles.
“Hopefully there will be something for everyone,” Chris said.
There will be about 200 sites on the day and Chris said the society hopes to attract around 2000 people. He expects the event to conclude after lunch.
Food is available at the event and entry is $3 per adult, while children are free.
Parking is available at the main entry of the racecourse off the Oxley Highway and also at the rear entrance from Sherwood Road.
Chris thanked SES volunteers for assisting with the direction of parking.
