Spokesperson from the school Kim Barry said a time capsule was believed to be buried on school grounds in the 1980s by students.
Staff have a few ideas of where the time capsule could be buried but are appealing to the public for more information.
“Some people have told us it was buried straight outside the library, while others say it could be outside the stage three classrooms near the playground,” Kim said.
“There was also an original school bell which the capsule could have been buried under, however this bell has changed locations over time.”
To make matters more complicated, Kim said there could be a time capsule still buried from students who attended the school earlier than the 1980s.
