Port Macquarie-Hastings Council workers have been busy creating the path between Scarborough Way and Seaview Avenue since the start of May. A council spokesperson said the path is expected to be open to the public by the end of July.
President of the Beach to Beach (B2B) Riverwalk Committee Penny Small thanked the workers for their efficiency.
“On behalf of the B2B pathway committee I'd like to thank the Port Macquarie-Hastings Council and Warren Krogh's team for the extraordinary success they are achieving in completing this section of the B2B Riverwalk shared pathway,” she said.
The committee is planning an official celebration of B2B pathway progress.
